Hi everyone!
How's this summer heat treating you? Enjoying it? Yeeeah, right! Ugh. It's super hot...so draining, huh?! It's time's like these that I wish we had a pool! I'm tempted to go to Wal-Mart & buy one of those cheap ones...just something to sit in, you know?! It's too bad we don't have a fence...I am not about to be seen a) in a bathing suit & b) in a kiddie pool. I guess that means I'll be a hermit this summer.
While I've been inside sipping on sweet tea, I've been busy working on a variety of projects...business card designs, logos, poster prints...it's been great! Ive posted a couple new things & more is soon to be on the way. I got behind on some things because my mom came into town to see Noah. She hadn't seen him since we brought him home from the hospital, so needless to say she had SO MUCH FUN hanging out with the little guy. It's amazing that he's 4 months old already...and 5 months is creeping up so quickly. Time's flying by, but we are really soaking up each day. There's always something new with him...it's just a joy to be a parent, you know?! Love it.
Here's a picture of Noah at the lake (he was getting a little sleepy, can you tell? ha). And yes, that's Bambi behind him! Deer were everywhere that day...he loved watching these huge creatures just move alongside us! It was great. I lately have found myself just looking at Noah taking in life...just observing his surroundings...and I contantly wonder...what does he think about all this? Then he ends up cracking this huge smile and I just melt. Living life through his eyes is the best gift.
Ok, more fun things coming soon! Oh...because I know you've been dying to know if I found a lip gloss (ha)...I did! Nars is the brand I ended up going with. The girls at Sephora insisted it was the "best" and so far I have to agree...I love it. So, there's a recommendation for ya. Well, enjoy the rest of your sweaty week!! Next we need to talk about yummy smelling body sprays... ;)
